The Flash

It starts so simply.  A little warmth in the cheeks.  Just enough to give you that rosy glow.  You know the one that all ladies try so hard to achieve with the blush.  Perfect pink!

Only, it doesn’t stop there!  It’s a glow that creeps to your entire face!  Now you’re truly glowing.  Only now instead of acquiring that perfect pink rosy color, you are now a fiery hot mama (literally) with a face the perfect beet red color!

Oh but the fun doesn’t stop there! Nope!!! That would be too easy.

It’s making its move.  On to the neck and chest. Now you feel like your head is going to explode from the heat.  I’m not talking a simple little explosion.  No! I’m talking one of those tankers full of fuel blasting into the air with fire and fuel (aka boiling blood) spewing into the air; kind of explosion.

But wait!! THERES MORE!!!

The heat isn’t complete without the entire body being covered in twinkling little sweat beads that grow to drenching rivers of sweat that flow down the neck into the …. Well you know where that leads. The pits are drenched, your face is leaking and you can’t seem to get enough air flow to cool you down.   You are literally cooking.  Quick! Get the thermometer!   I’m done!

Just when you think it can’t get any worse the tide turns.

The breeze, fan blowing, burst of fresh air that just moments ago you were craving for, become an arctic blast hitting those beautiful rivers of sweat and chills you to the bone!   No joke!

Grab the blanket! Quick! Faster! You’re too slow!  Your bones are now so brittle because of the blast of arctic air that just hit your body. Now your cheeks are glowing perfectly pink due to the frost bite that has set in.

Ahhhh finally, you’re slowly starting to thaw out only to have all the fun begin again.
