Candied Cranberries

Time to take your snack game from good to OMG awesome!

Candied Cranberries are SO easy to make and taste SO good.

With just a few basic ingredients, you can have a delicious sweet and sour snack.

These are so good my great nephew kept saying ‘mas’ ‘mas’, he just couldn’t get enough.

Basic Ingredients:

Fresh Cranberries, sugar of choice, liquid of choice

Instructions:

Wash and drain cranberries

Soak in simple syrup, orange juice or flavored seltzer water for 2 hours (or up to 8 hours). Use enough liquid so all cranberries are covered.

Drain cranberries - reserving juice for later use.

Coat cranberries with sugar of choice (cane sugar, powdered sugar, monk fruit etc.)

Bake at 200 degrees for 5 minutes or until sugar has dried on cranberries. You don’t want to cook so long that they become mushy

I coated mine in the cranberry juice I had made, then saved the juice to be drank later
