It's Never Too Late
I'm sitting here this morning looking over the names of people who have liked my posts and reading some friends posts in Facebook and it got me thinking;
It's never too late.
It's never too late for a fresh start. It's never too late to start over. It's never too late to just get started and it's never to late to finish.
If you don't start, you can't finish. If you don't finish you can't begin again.
I can attest to the fact that it's never too late.
My first start began in 1968 when I was born, that season ended in 1987 when I got married and my season as a wife began. There were other new seasons in 1988 & 1989 when I became a mother for the first and second times.
In 2006 the season of wife ended and that ending was tough. It wasn't an easy transition and there was a lot of emotions that went along with that ending. But here's the thing, if that season hadn't ended then the fresh new beginning could never have happened. Sometimes we have to go through the pain of an ending in order to enjoy the excitement of the fresh start.
My new start began in 2007 when I met my best friend and husband. We started our life as hubs and wife in 2010 and this season is amazing.
It doesn't matter what season you're in, there's going to be starts and finishes. Some finish lines will be simple and just seem to meld into the start of the next season and some finish lines will be hard and oh so emotional.
One thing to remember: it's never too late.
